History

In the beginning...

In 2001, Raymond Jacob connected with the vision of how an individual's standard of living can be effectively modified for generations when education and caring support are combined.

As Raymond reflected and grew more appreciative of his life and all he has been blessed with, the idea of My Child's Footprints Foundation became more of a lifetime passion. Chinese Proverb ~ "Teach someone to fish instead of giving them a fish." When Raymond met his wife, Christine, in 2005, she shared his dream without hesitation. In 2009, other dear friends of the Jacob's were introduced to the idea and as the years passed, several have become enthusiastic supporters and encouragers pressing forward with their own initiative to effect change.

Over the past few years, Raymond has launched several businesses to complement the generous donations of contributors. The concept is not new. It is where all the profit over operating costs are donated to the Foundation. This unique idea: Instead of business profit - "Let's give it all away to those who need it." - has proven beneficial for the Foundation as well as the entrepreneurial enterprises.
